I am an atheist. Because I am an atheist, I can poke fun at religion, religious characters and religious practises without any guilt or fear of punishment in the afterlife. Being an atheist also makes it very difficult for me to understand how someone could be personally hurt by having their religious sensibilities challenged.
The main characters of this comic are God and Satan. This alone might be enough to offend certain people. The inclusion of these characters is not meant to be offensive, nor is it an attempt to be controversial. I am simply interested in theology and came up with a crazy idea that would allow me to draw God and Satan interacting with each other in a humorous way. This is not the God and Satan of the bible. It is the God and Satan of my mind, my creativity and my sense of humour. If I’ve upset you, sorry! I owe you a hug!
